I have a passion for creativity. It's instilled in everything I do.
I am an eighth year educator in a suburb in Illinois. I taught 4th grade for 7 years, and this year I'm taking on a new role of a Student Learning Coach in a middle school. I feel very fortunate to have such a fantastic job with amazing teachers, supportive parents, and fabulous students. At school, I get involved in as many things as I can, because I can't get enough of this school! From Harry Potter Camp, to TECHsperts, to Business Club, I'm constantly staying busy. I received a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading! Through these experiences, my interest in leadership has grown. I have started a new (and unexpected) journey -- Principal Prep Masters!
Other than teaching, I enjoy crafting, reading, traveling, spending time with husband, pup, family, and friends. Oh, and obsessing over all there is to do in the best city in the world, Chicago!
